Eliot Spitzer

Okay. So I'm sure a big reason it's getting SOOOOO much press is that he made his name, to paraphrase the nytimes.com homepage's description, enforcing standards of ethics in public life.

But really...

Am I the only one who's kinda thinking "who gives a flying f who the Governor f'd?"

Well, if he simply had a mistress, I would tend to agree with you, but prostitution is illegal. His arrogance and hypocrisy are so striking. Spitzer was Attorney General for eight years, and he went after prostitution rings! This guy was so self-righteous when talking about right and wrong. He lost all credibility, there is no way he can govern.
