I had that one! I don't understand what makes half of my nieces' toys appropriate for 9- and 5-year-old girls. Have you ever seen those hoochie little Bratz dolls? On the bright side, my 15-month old nephew's favorite toy is something similar to that delightful collection of plastic and primary colors, but with wood block shapes - even more retro.
Ugh, I hate BRATZ dolls. I don't mind VTech stuff so much, they're educational.. unlike other video games. They teach spelling and things. But simple stuff is awesome, too! My son LOVES Lego and Lincoln Logs.
