maybe someone's worried about the f.c.c. jumping on them, what with that "gay old time" lyric... esp. with all the commotion lately about reps and pages and whatnot. but good on you for reminding me of a much simpler time. i used to love this show as a kid, i had a routine at 3 every afternoon with (in this order)flintstones, gilligan's island, and space giants (anyone remenber that one????).
Haven't thought of the Flintstones in a while - and I loved the show. Except things really did go downhill when they added Gazoo. What was with that alien anyway?
They're alive and well and living next door to my former house in Tennessee. And their daughter was a crack whore named Pebbles. Really.
I always thought the Flintstones were basically the same show as I Love Lucy, but with animation.
