Interesting. I could nominate one or two who aren't worth more than a dollar a year...
Oh, wait -- do Bigelows count as professors?
Seriously, one of my favorite things about this place is that you can actually talk to the professors. Even better, they talk back. Cool. And most amazing of all, they don't think you have to agree with them.

i've heard of mayors doing this, but never professors.
anyways, schools make so much off student's tuition, to claim they don't have money to pay their teachers is just silly.
just my two cents....
My money's on Landes.
oo, good one, jca.
Maybe Epstein?
Or I could be really snide and say all the female professors, because of course they wouldn't get paid as much as the men ;)
Oh! Obama? Since they technically still list him as "faculty" (lol)
Ok, I love teaching....in theory. A dollar a year would qualify me as a serial killer who's looking for a motive
Big laughs to Slater. :D
And Landes? A love of teaching? I thought he loved golf.
For the "love of teaching" part, I was thinking Strauss. C'mon, Strauss groupies, I know you're with me there!
I thought of my Lovey, o-dog, but I don't get the sense that he's independently wealthy enough to do that, even though he totally deserves it.
Have I mentioned I love that man??
meaning, he deserves the wealth, not the cheap pay ;)
Do I hear Fischel?
lak -- that might have more to do, I'd think, with "undisclosed settlement terms" than "love" ;)
parents.
Professor Alberts does not get a real salary. He mentioned it in Professional Responsibility.
