I agree! Doesn't it seem less hygienic to have it rolling under so that it lies against the wall, along which who knows what critters could be creeping?

Under. If you've ever owned a cat, it's definitely under. Cats can't then bat the roll and unroll it all over your bathroom.
I'd rather have a bidet, anyday.
