Can you?

This is really pathetic. According to a recent study, only one in four Americans can name more than one of the five freedoms guaranteed by the First Amendment.

Here's the really REALLY embarrassing thing: I couldn't remember "right to petition the government for redress of grievances."

Um. That's my JOB. That's the right to sue!!

I forgot that was in the First Amendment (embarrassed blush)

Hey Law Fairy,
Maybe if you'd spent more time paying attention in ConLaw IV and less time IM-ing with me we both would have remembered that one.

I didn't remember that one either, lawfairy...although to my credit (a) we never even mentioned it in conlaw IV, and (b) I think I should get double credit since I recalled the establishment and free exercise clauses as two separate freedoms :)

ohmygosh, the establishment clause is SOOOOO not a "freedom"!! But it could be fun to try to drag the pollster into a political discussion :)
