I knoes my maffs.
It's not that I was BAD at math; it's just that I never really LIKED it. In school, I was always a good math student, and I scored well on the typical tests that measure such things. HOWEVER, may I just say that I think that this New York Times article is spot on??? Give me a 40(t+1) = 400 - 50t equation ANY DAY over the damn "two trains going in opposite directions" example. Those trains were the bane of my K through 12 existence!
