I'm actually talking about this article, which reports an Italian teacher who cut off a misbehaving student's TONGUE.
Seriously, where is the outrage?? "Suspension" as her punishment thus far?
What does it say about me that my first instinct was "If this were in the US, she and the school district would be sued for all they're worth"...?

Seriously, WHAT THE FUCK is wrong with some people? This woman has ISSUES.
Sadly, if she'd been a man she might actually be punished reasonably for this. But people are so married to their notions of women as inherently nurturing, mothering creatures that they don't know what to make of women who shouldn't be allowed within a mile of children.

The funny thing is she claims it was an accident. How in the hell can you ACCIDENTIALLY cut out someone's tongue? They should cut her tongue off and let her experience that pain firsthand or at least brand the words “Insert Foot” on her ass cheeks.
