Mighty convenient, eh, Lay?

I know it's horrible of me to say this about someone who just "died," but am I the only one who is a little disappointed that Kenneth Lay, founder of Enron and dead this past week before his sentencing, seemed to have found the ultimate "Get Out of Jail Free" card?

This is the happy side of being raised a fire-and-brimstone Christian. I can comfort myself with the thought of him burning in eternal fire and damnation :)

I am definitely inclined to agree with the conspiracy theorists. :)

Whatever you think of Ken Lay and whatever he may have done, is it really appropriate for people to be all over television saying they're glad he's dead? Or that they're upset he died because they didn't get the revenge they hoped for? He's still someone's husband, son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend.
